Jeff Herr currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Jack Cooper Logistics. Previous to this role, Mr. Herr served as the Vice Chair of the Chairman’s Strategic Advisory board responsible for mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Jack Cooper, Mr. Herr spent 15 years in the trucking industry. In addition to logistics, Mr. Herr has over 20 years of management experience in manufacturing companies related to the automotive and commercial vehicles industries. Mr. Herr received a BS in mechanical/electrical engineering from the General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He and his wife of 30 years have two daughters and a son.
